Looking to the heavens...

I can't decide if this picture is about the budding of these silver maple leaves, or the search for answers that inevitably leaves us looking to the skies and hoping they will be gifted to us from above.

Or maybe it isn't necessary to look past the budding leaves to find the answers.

You are right, Indie. This was shot at f/8, and it was bright enough that I could have easily gone to f/11 or even f/16. I think the reason I stuck with f/8 was that it was hand held and the shutter speed was only 1/200th of a second at that aperture. I was probably too lazy to go up to the house to get my tripod and screw around with it to get the camera pointed straight up. :D It was also fairly windy this week and so there likely would have been motion blur on the leaves and branches if I'd gone with a significantly smaller aperture (and longer shutter speed).

Excuses, excuses. Haha..

Im not a professional guy like you.. so probably u should ignore my comments.. But on the right hand bottom fore-screen, a little hazy! But that's just my opinion. I would have gone a lill more on Aperture. (I could be completely wrong and trying to learn from you)
